Few houses in Sinamary

Sinnamary is located thirty kilometers from Kourou following the RN-1 Northwards in the direction of Saint Laurent du Maroni. This old village is crossed by the Sinnamary river. It is the starting point for few pirogue excursions too observe either the toucans in the rainforest or the scarlet ibis close to the mouth of the river. Sinnamary is also a nice place to enjoy a local meal on the terrace of one of the two restaurants located along the river. The blue and white swallows catching insects upon the water surface make the show at anytime. Few typical Guyanese habitations can be discovered during a short walk across the village….This is the theme of this postcard.
